His ascension continued on the 16th of June 1999 when he was appointed as a Judge in the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, marking a pivotal moment in his journey. Beyond the courtroom, Justice Reddy showcased his administrative acumen, serving as the Vice Chairman of the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal from May to December 2004. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Acting Chairman, demonstrating not only his judicial prowess but also his exceptional administrative leadership.

The zenith of his administrative career saw Justice Reddy appointed as the Chairman of the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal not once but twice, from May 2005 to May 2007, and later from July 2007 to May 2020, leaving an indelible mark on the administrative landscape.

As a qualified Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since May 2012, Akshaya P. Herle brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his role as an Advisory Committee member in our educational institute.

With a robust background spanning various prestigious firms and organizations, Akshaya’s journey as a Chartered Accountant began at Ishwar and Gopal Chartered Accountants, Bengalure, where he served as an Audit Manager from September 2011. His responsibilities encompassed a diverse range of areas including Audit, Tax, and Company Matters, laying a strong foundation for his professional career.

Transitioning to Singhvi, Dev & Unni (SDU) Chartered Accountants, Akshaya delved into the intricacies of Indirect Taxes. During his tenure, he was actively engaged in representing clients from Real Estate, Service Industry, and Software Companies before Appellate Authorities, honing his skills in advocacy and compliance.

His journey continued with PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited (PwC), Bengaluru, where he assumed the role of Assistant Manager in Indirect Taxes from August 2016 to October 2018. Here, he gained invaluable experience in navigating the complexities of tax regulations and advising clients on strategic tax planning.

In November 2018, Akshaya transitioned to TATA Consumer Products Limited, Bengalure, as a Senior Manager, where he currently oversees PAN India indirect tax compliances across six entities. His role demands a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations, coupled with strategic foresight to ensure compliance and optimize tax outcomes.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Akshaya has also contributed to the education sector as a guest faculty at Hiregange Academy. His passion for sharing knowledge and nurturing talent underscores his commitment to the advancement of the accounting profession.
